Terms & Conditions

For Our Packages
Our package prices which exclude VAT are fixed for the 2024/2025 academic year. During certain periods, we will have other package promotions, offers and discounts. These are not combinable or transferrable.

Variation Of Fees And Services
Fees may be changed, and the services we offer can be added to or withdrawn at any time. However, fees will not be varied during a course or other service in progress. Discover Learning will give at least two weeks advance notice to all clients in the event of a change in the structure or price of our services.

Payment Terms
Lessons are booked and paid for in advance. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or credit card. After the free assessment, we will issue an invoice for the chosen package, and this will need to be paid before the first lesson. Lessons are not refundable or transferable once payment has been made.

Student Late Arrival
Students should aim to arrive 5 minutes before the start of their lesson. Any student who arrives late will be given the remainder of their lesson. Any student who is running late for a lesson will be expected to call or text to give an estimated arrival time.

Late Pick Up Charges
In the event that the Parent or Guardian is delayed in excess of 15 minutes beyond the agreed pick-up time they shall be subject to a fee of 50 AED. The fee is intended to compensate for the additional time and resources required to ensure the safety and well-being of the child during the extended period.

Personal Belongings
Personal belongings All students are responsible for their own personal belongings. Discover Learning will not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged items.

Rescheduling
Lessons cannot be frozen or postponed. If a student misses a lesson, it will be deducted from the total number of lessons, and no make-up sessions will be provided.

Pre-existing Conditions
Pre-existing conditions In the interests of the well-being of a student whilst in the teacher’s care, the center must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the student.

Use Of Images And Videos
I hereby give permission for Discover Learning team to take pictures and videos of my child during classes and post on their social media accounts along with the center’s logo.

Package Cancellation
All packages are non-refundable. Once purchased, the package cannot be canceled or refunded.

Conduct and Responsibilities
Students must follow Discover Learning’s rules and regulations. Parents and guardians should support their child’s education and respect our staff. If a student damages center property, parents or guardians must cover the repair costs. Students must adhere to the lesson timetable, attend classes on time, and enter and exit quietly. Workbooks and materials provided by the center should be kept neat and tidy.

Teacher Assignment
Discover Learning reserves the right to change the assigned teacher from time to time. This may be necessary due to scheduling conflicts, staff availability, or to better meet the educational needs of the student. We ensure that any changes will maintain the quality of instruction and continuity in the student’s learning experience.

Exclusivity
The Parent shall refrain from contacting or soliciting any tutors employed by Discover Learning for the purpose of private tutoring services outside the scope of the Center. Our tutors are bound by a confidentiality agreement and are contracted to work exclusively with our center and students. We will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone who breaches our tutors’ confidentiality agreement.
